Finding contact info for Junk Fax companies

There are numerous ways to search for info about junk fax companies on the internet. For example, if you have the company name, you can search on the California Secretary of State's website (if a it's corporation) at: http://kepler.ss.ca.gov/list.html

You can also try other state regulatory boards' websites (e.g., if fax is from a doctor, lawyer, real estate agent other regulated business). If you only have the phone/fax number, you can look up on the web in reverse phone directories.

If you know the website address, you can look in various website registrant sites such as: http://www.betterwhois.com or http://www.google.com

There are other ways to search through online services-- some may cost money. Try the free avenues first.
